LkSG – Supply chain due diligence obligations

Are you looking for a simple and cost-effective way to implement the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act?

The Act on Corporate Due Diligence to Prevent Human Rights Violations in Supply Chains, or LkSG for short, has been in force since January 1, 2023 and since then has applied to all companies based in Germany with at least 3,000 employees. Since January 1, 2024, the number of employees required to fall within the scope of the law has fallen to 1000 employees. This means that large parts of the SME sector are now also directly affected by the German Supply Chain Act.

Implementing the LkSG requires time, money, personnel and know-how. Abstract and concrete risk analyses, whistleblower protection, preventive and remedial measures or BAFA reports are just some of the obligations that companies are faced with. tec4U-Solutions helps to implement the requirements in a legally secure manner, to fulfill the obligations quickly and cost-effectively and thus to reduce risks.

In addition to the process integration of the requirements from the LkSG, tec4U-Solutions also advises you on:

  • the preparation of a policy statement on your human rights strategy in accordance with Section 6 (2) LkSG

  • the creation of a Code of Conduct to communicate expectations regarding compliance with human and environmental rights to your suppliers in the supply chain as well as your business partners

  • the creation of rules of procedure for complaints management in accordance with Section 8 (2) LkSG

  • industry research for the implementation of a risk analysis in accordance with the requirements of the LkSG in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control
